The Durango to Silverton to Ouray RR is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Colorado. Running through the mountains and gorges, gives spectacular views of old mining areas. It is best to take the train one way and then the bas for the return trip. The views are totally different. The next we actually drove the route so we could stop where we wanted and spend more time in the towns. Fantastic time. This shot was taken the net day after we scoped out the many RR crossings.

Been a photographer for more than 50 years. As an Architectural Engineer I love architecture and things mechanical. I am also an avid gardener and flowers are another passion in my photography. As a frustrated artist, I have dabbled in pencil, and charcoal sketches, oil and watercolor paintings, but I settled on photography and digital art to expression my artistic passion. I still dabble of course but I spend more time in Photoshop than at my easel. I hope you enjoy my work.
