While attending a flower show in Las Vegas, I saw the most beautiful orange flower. It was not labeled, and I had to look for someone to tell me what it was. Icelandic poppies come in a verity of colors and are low growing and look like they are crafted from crepe paper. It is a great pollinator flower. I cant grown them in Texas but my sister has two verities growing in Indiana. Photo owned by John Kain, owner of JK Photography.

Been a photographer for more than 50 years. As an Architectural Engineer I love architecture and things mechanical. I am also an avid gardener and flowers are another passion in my photography. As a frustrated artist, I have dabbled in pencil, and charcoal sketches, oil and watercolor paintings, but I settled on photography and digital art to expression my artistic passion.
