John Ford filmed so many movies in monument Valley. This spot is one of his most famous. The rock point in the center of the image is where he set his director chair. Many John Wayne movies were made here. You can just imagine him leading an army troop through the scene.

Been a photographer for more than 50 years. As an Architectural Engineer I love architecture and things mechanical. I am also an avid gardener and flowers are another passion in my photography. As a frustrated artist, I have dabbled in pencil, and charcoal sketches, oil and watercolor paintings, but I settled on photography and digital art to expression my artistic passion.
